Welcome

Welcome to Brentwood Ursuline. Since 1900 BUCHS has provided a first-class Catholic education for Brentwood and the surrounding area. This long tradition gives our school a very special ethos and a strong reputation for educating young people not only to a high academic standard, but also to be caring and responsible leaders in society. Our motto is ‘Duty’ and we expect our students to fulfil their own personal duty in whatever vocation they are called to.

We are proud to be an Ursuline school, part of global network of Ursuline schools founded on the life and work of St Angela Merici. Our Catholic identity is central to our community and finds expression in many ways, including whole-school celebrations in Brentwood Cathedral, assemblies, prayers, charitable activities and retreats. Most of all, however, our ethos is expressed through the daily interactions between us; in the words of our school prayer: ‘bearing with each other in Jesus Christ’.

Brentwood Ursuline has a distinctive atmosphere that I hope you will see reflected in the pages of this website. If you would like to know more about our wonderful school, please contact us and we would be happy to show you around.
