125th Anniversary

On Foundation Day (April 23rd) 2025, Brentwood Ursuline celebrated 125 years since our school was founded by Mother Clare. This is a moment in our history we were proud to mark, with students invited to take part in different activities in their subjects, as well as in extra-curricular opportunities.

Over the past 125 years, we have survived two world wars, hosted a Belgian Princess, survived a global pandemic, as well as provided a high-quality education to thousands of young people, in line with the work of St. Angela Merici.

On the morning of Saturday 26th April, Brentwood Cathedral was packed with students, staff, families and friends of our school, old and new, for a wonderful Mass celebrating 125 years since Foundation Day. The congregation received a warm welcome from Canon John and our choir sang beautifully throughout.

We then moved over to the school grounds in the afternoon, where hundreds attended for an afternoon of sharing memories, school tours, playing games, delicious food and drinks, bouncy castles, displays, presentations, raffles, live music and glorious sunshine.

Any money raised on the day is donated towards the new Sixth Form block, to enable us to provide an outstanding education to young women and men for many years.
