Co-Curricular

At Brentwood Ursuline Convent High School, we believe learning extends well beyond the classroom. Our co-curricular programme offers pupils a broad range of enrichment opportunities throughout the academic year, led by our teaching staff and including in-school activities, day visits and residential trips. Each experience is designed to build confidence, deepen subject knowledge and develop the independence and character that prepare pupils for life beyond school. We hold ourselves to a high standard across five enrichment categories.
The five enrichment categories that guide our programme are described below:
- Civic engagement: Activities that develop responsibility to, and participation in, the local and wider community.
- Arts and culture: Opportunities to create, perform and appreciate music, drama, art and other cultural forms.
- Nature, outdoor and adventure: Experiences in the natural environment that build resilience, teamwork and environmental awareness.
- Life and future skills: Activities such as STEM clubs, debating and other experiences that build skills for work and study.
- Sport and physical activities: Sport, fitness and movement opportunities that support health and teamwork.
